# Steps:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine shrimp, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss thoroughly to ensure even coating. Allow to marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
02 - In a separate bowl, combine mango, red onion, red bell pepper, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well mixed, then set aside to let flavors meld.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • You’ll never have to choose between something fresh and something satisfying—that balance is built into every bite.
  • The bright, juicy mango salsa brings so much sunshine to the dish, it’s become my go-to taco topping even when I make something else.
02 -
  • If you walk away while the shrimp are on the pan, they’ll overcook—stay close and have your tortillas ready.
  • Letting the salsa sit for at least 10 minutes mellows the sharpness of onion and blends the flavors beautifully.
03 -
  • Give the shrimp a quick pat dry before marinating—they’ll brown better without extra moisture.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan—a single layer ensures each piece cooks perfectly and soaks in the flavor.
