A vibrant Mexican drink blending fresh grapes with lime, ideal for cooling off on hot days.

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit

01 - 3 cups seedless red or green grapes, washed

→ Liquid & Sweeteners

02 - 3 cups cold water
03 - 2-3 tablespoons sugar, adjust to taste
04 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

→ Serving & Garnish

05 - Ice cubes for serving
06 - Fresh mint leaves or extra grapes for garnish (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Combine grapes, cold water, sugar, and fresh lime juice in a blender canister.
02 - Blend on high speed until completely smooth and frothy, approximately 45-60 seconds.
03 - Pour mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean pitcher, pressing solids to extract maximum liquid. Discard grape pulp and skins.
04 - Taste the strained beverage and add additional sugar or lime juice as needed for desired sweetness and tartness.
05 - Pour over ice cubes in tall glasses. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs or additional whole grapes if desired. Serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • This drink captures pure grape essence in a way juice never does, somehow tasting fresher than the fruit itself
  • It comes together in under ten minutes but looks like something you'd order at a fancy restaurant
02 -
  • The first time I skipped straining, the texture was gritty and unpleasant. That extra minute of work makes all the difference between a drinkable experiment and something truly elegant.
  • Grapes vary wildly in sweetness depending on the season and variety. Always taste a grape before blending so you can adjust your sugar accordingly.
03 -
  • If using honey instead of sugar, warm it slightly with a spoonful of the water before blending so it dissolves completely
  • A splash of sparkling water transforms this into an elegant mocktail perfect for weddings or baby showers
